Dance Styles & Offerings
Our instructors are experienced in various styles of partner and individual dances. Part of our collective vision is to be a place of growth and development for both our students and our instructors, so we strive to keep things interesting with a wide mix of regularly scheduled classes and varying limited-time workshops. We currently offer club & social dance favorites like Salsa, Bachata, Argentine Tango, and West Coast Swing, as well as classic dances like Ballet, International Standard Ballroom, and International Latin Ballroom. If you’re not sure where to start, come by for a class or a chat! We hold beginner-level classes in all of our dance styles.

Salsa & Bachata
Mondays
Lose yourself in the music while your feet keep the beat in these flirty, fun dances. Both Salsa and Bachata help you connect with your partner and build your stamina, while learning fun and fast moves to leave you breathless.
West Coast Swing
Fridays
Sink into the beat and dance to the riffs in the music in this fun, slinky partner dance. West Coast Swing encourages you to work with your partner as you dance to the beat, the song, and play with your favorite parts of the music.
Argentine Tango
Tuesdays
Connect to your heartbeat in this beautiful, captivating dance. Focusing on your partner and how they move, Argentine Tango will help you better understand your partner, balance, movement, and lead and follow.
International Ballroom
Usually found on the competition floor, International ballroom encourages you to keep a closed frame while dancing Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, and Viennese Waltz, Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Jive, and Paso Doble.
Community Shows!
Every other month
A super fun way to show off to your friends and family-- or come see what everyone has been up to at the studio
Monthly Series
Starting in February of 2026, all GCDC group classes will follow a monthly 4-week progressive series structure. Throughout the month, instructors will progressively build on a concept or combo, with drills and variations designed to help hone skills around that month’s theme. Drop-ins are welcome only on the first lesson of each month, after which all students will need to purchase the class series package to continue attending.
Instruction Style
While there will be opportunities for drop-ins, most of our material is designed to be taken in series. Much like you wouldn’t try to learn a foreign language in one hour, you wouldn’t want to rush learning to dance. It takes time to move past the awkward phase, and even more time to practice more advanced moves and styling. The good news is that our regular classes are a fun way to get there as a group!
Money at GCDC
ALL the money you spend goes to fund more dancing here at GCDC. Whether it’s supporting local artists, renovating our space, or supporting our ability to offer reduced-cost rates to those who have financial needs. If you have specific financial needs, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
